October is Fair Trade month, and to start it off, TransFair USA is hosting a kick-off party this Tuesday, September 29th at the Fox Theatre’s new bar, The Den.  TransFair USA is a nonprofit organization located in Oakland which is committed to certifying Fair Trade products for the United States.  Part of their work addresses the issues of sustainability and sustainable business, which fits right in with OneCalifornia and their alliances with sustainable business and shop local campaigns.  Mingle with Fair Trade companies and activists and support a local Oakland business in the process!  To learn more, check out the event’s Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=135320433836&index=1
