Online Business Assistance Center
One PacificCoast Foundation is developing an online business assistance center for Oakland’s small businesses! Scheduled to be launched in early 2009, and developed in collaboration with the City of Oakland, the Mayor’s Small Business Task Force, and many other small business service providers in Oakland, this website will be a comprehensive, easy-to-use site where small business owners and entrepreneurs can find out the resources available and steps needed to run a successful business in Oakland.

Small business loans
One PacificCoast Bank offers small business loans of $50,000 and up. If you are looking for smaller loans, see the list of lenders on our resource page.

Trainings
As a vendor of Oakland Unwrapped, trainings are available to assist you with developing your website, selling online, marketing your business, and basic banking and money management skills.

• Introductory Website Development Training - Basic setup of your ecommerce website that includes content management, graphic designing, and product placement.
• Advanced Website Development Training - Advanced setup including shipping arrangements, gift registries, marketing online, corresponding with customers, payment processing, and tracking stock.
• Member Mixers & Workshops We provide seminars and mixers for our Oakland Unwrapped vendors to assist them with marketing and business operations.
