Andrea Walker
Executive Program Assistant

Andrea Walker is a native Oaklander, who is passionate about her community and enthusiastically works to improve the city she calls home. Andrea has worked in education and nonprofit for eight years. A graduate of Skyline High School, Andrea served for two consecutive years as the Student Board Director on the Oakland Unified School District Board of Education. She also held positions of All City Council President for Oakland Public High Schools and Associated Student Body President.

Andrea received her Associate of Science in Business Administration and Associate of Arts in Social & Behavioral Science from Butte-Glenn Community College. During community college Andrea was a member of the Students in Free Enterprise program, where she helped create financial literacy and entrepreneurial programs for middle and high school students. Andrea earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from Sacramento State University.

Before joining the OneCalfornia family, Andrea was a Program Assistant and Campaign Coordinator with the Greater Sacramento Area Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). With LLS, Andrea managed and coordinated community service and fundraising campaigns that included Light the Night, Pennies for Patients, and Team in Training.

Andrea is a marathoner, one of six siblings, and an avid volunteer.
