Our Grants Policy

One PacificCoast Foundation is a Public Charity nonprofit corporation dedicated to promoting economic and community development in the San Francisco Bay Area and California. Most activities of the Foundation are educational in purpose. Currently, the Foundation utilizes most of its resources in the development of programs and initiatives to help address issues of discrimination, affordable housing, financial literacy, economic distress and community development.

Grants to other nonprofits and sponsorships of projects and events are extremely limited at this point in time, and by invitation only. Thus, the Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals for funding, however, organizations interested in educating the Foundation about their activities may send a one-page letter and collateral materials describing their organization, programs and/or events.

The Foundation gives priority to projects that support its mission and vision; innovation and high impact are also considered in the decision making process. To ensure a broad spectrum of organizations receiving our limited support the Foundation will not consider additional grants or sponsorship requests until two full years have elapsed.

The Foundation will respond to inquiries for funds or sponsorships only if it is interested in further exploring an invitation to apply for support.
